WHAT IS CRYOLIPOLYSIS?
The technology of using cold to decompose fat cells was pioneered by the president of the Pennsylvania University
School of Medicine in America and has since gained FDA approval as well as European CE.
Unlike other slimming technologies out there, this one is designed as an alternative to liposuctionfor areas of
localized fat, e.g. back rolls, muffin tops, love handles. As such, we have enjoyed a lot of a success with this in areas
like LA, Tokyo, Shanghai, Sydney where the people eat healthy, exercise regularly, but are bugged by the stubborn
areas of fat. Coincidently, this type of client also shows the most noticeable improvement, where clinical trials
have shown patients losing up to 10mm per treatment.
SCIENCE IN A NUTSHELL
Biologically speaking, the fat cells which reside in the subcutaneous layer are more vulnerable at low temperatures.
So what we do is we cool down the area, causing the fat cells to crystallize, triggering a natural cell death, whilst leaving
the surrounding tissue unharmed.
These crystallized cells are then taken care of by metabolism, without adverse effects on liver enzymes or blood fats.
During this stage, you will gradually be able to see a reduced circumference for the treated area.
HOW TREATMENT WORKS
With our treatment, we use a specially designed vacuum to gently draw up the skin area; the automated cooling handles
then start the treatment, which can be programmable, including treatment time.
Last year at the HK Cosmoprof, one of the clients fell asleep in right on our treatment bed! From a client's point of view,
the cold and slightly numbing sensation is like putting on an icepack.
From a practioner's point of view, our machine is not technique dependant and requires no staff time
once the client has been set up.

RESULTS
The great thing about this treatment, apart from that its simple and really effective, is that its designed to be a
'lunch time job', where clients can return to normal activities right afterwards without discomfort and the only tell-tale
signs being a flushed skin appearance (on the treated area) for a few hours.
Research from the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery suggests a loss of 20-40% for each treatment (where
20% is the average!). After a 2month wait, when you are ready for the next treatment, you can look forward to another
20%+ being lost. Our own clinical trials, the desired results were obtained after 4 treatments.
Similar trials performed on love handles showed that at 1 treatment a reduction of least 11.5%
compared with the normal untreated side, with obvious results displayed in pictures.

FAQs
Can I use this treatment?
>Good candidates have bulges in certain areas they want to get rid of. This is not a weight loss solution for people who are obese. The client should always consult with the practioner.
What can I do after the treatment?
>Usually we have patients going back to work immediately after the session. Some patients experience redness, tingling or numbness in the treated area, but this is temporary and will resolve completely.
How long until I see results?
>Visible changes occur as quickly as three weeks, whilst the most dramatic results show after two months. The body will continue to flush out fat cells along with its toxins up to four to six months after treatment.
Are these changes here to stay, or will they disappear?
>The affected fat cells will be eliminated. As long as you maintain your weight with your normal diet and exercise, your long-term results should remain stable.
