Here's how to make every meal NEW and TASTY

People are always asking me how I am able to constantly create new and delicious meals that my whole family enjoys. Well, I have a little secret about that. Many times (ok, maybe almost every single time) the recipe is straight out of a cookbook, website or cooking show (hey, I didn’t say I was a chef right?)

Strangely enough…most people are super surprised about this... Many of the recipes I use are NOT out of health or diet books or even health websites. They are just regular recipes (many times laden with toxic ingredients) that I adjust and modify myself.

Why do I do this?

It’s really pretty difficult to find a cookbook that passes the Isabel test 100%. There are many recipes and recipe books that come close (really close), but those seem to be few and far between so I enjoy making adjustments to recipes and experimenting in the kitchen to make my own delicious and healthy fat burning meals.

Rest assured I will always pass on the great recipes to you. I promise that if I figure something out that fits into our meal plans and is tasty and easy to make, I will always send it your way (we’re here to support each other right?)

A few weeks ago a guy by the name of Dave Ruel sent me a copy of his cookbook “Metabolic Cooking”. When I opened up his website, the first thought that crossed my mind was “Oh boy, another bodybuilder who’s probably got a recipe book full of protein shakes”, but boy was I wrong. With recipes like Chocolate French Toasts, Italiano Zucchini Meatloaf, and Greek Banana Pudding that contained NO toxic ingredients, I was hooked! This book now has a cozy home on my kitchen counter right next to all of my other favorite recipe books.

But this cookbook also got me thinking…

I may know how to change and adjust recipes to make them super healthy, but maybe my readers could use some help in this department.

So here is what I did…
