How I Would Do Rapid Fat Loss

Just yesterday I told you all about Joel Marion’s brand new 25-day rapid fat loss program, The Xtreme Fat Loss Diet.  It’s basically a super fast and easy way to lose 25 lbs in 25 days (and yes, most of that will be from fat).

But it seems that something happened after I sent out that email…some of my readers were SHOCKED that I would even be suggesting anyone attempt to lose 25 lbs in such a short period of time with such extreme strategies. 

“Since your nutrition program is obviously a long term solution and very enjoyable way of eating to lose unwanted weight and keep it off for good, where does such an intense program like Joel’s fit into the equation?”

A couple of important points...

1.        Joel’s program is only to be used for 25 days.  He says that clearly in the instructions.  He does not suggest you continue to eat this way as your long term healthy eating plan.  In fact, he strongly advises against it and urges readers to pick a plan they know is an enjoyable plan for them (like my program).

2.       You do not have to eat unhealthy food to make Joel’s program work.  I think when people read “cheat day” they automatically think donuts, fast food drive thru, and ice cream sundays all day long.  But Joel also explains that this is not a “gorging” day but just a day to give yourself a bit of a break from “following the rules.”  My cheat day usually consists of French toast (with more maple syrup than is reasonable for 1 human being), sushi lunch, and always a dessert after dinner.  I don’t eat anything “ridiculous” and by ridiculous I mean toxic food like fast food or foods containing high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oils. There is no good reason to ingest any of those foods EVER.  It’s called a “cheat day” not a “bloody disaster day” and those foods to me are really that bad.

3.       I would follow Joel’s plan using the principles I teach in my nutrition program.  How would I do that?  I would only use all natural foods for the food days, I would only use the most natural Protein powder (which there are only 2 I recommend) and I would only structure my cheat day as I have described above.

But I know #3 is probably not explaining very much so here is what I have decided to do for you (and yes I am doing this at NO extra cost to you).
